Relationships and Workplace Conflict
Relationships and Workplace Conflict
When Workplace relationships are strong, they can be a source of energy, learning, and support. But when they fracture, even just temporarily, they become sources of frustration that harm both people and organization
There are broadly two kinds of workplace conflict: when people’s ideas, decisions or actions relating directly to the job are in opposition, or when two people just don’t get along.
Conflict can be damaging, and many people actively avoid dealing with situations arising from conflict. However, properly handled, conflict can strengthen our dealings with other people and add to our understanding of others’ views or perceptions.
